Fiori Tesfay knows what it means to move between worlds. Born in Asmara and rooted in East African culture, she came to Switzerland in 2007 and rebuilt her life through language, service, hospitality, sales, events and international travel work.
Her years in multicultural environments — including Zurich Airport — shaped her understanding that travel is never only movement. It is identity, access and connection.
With Swiss Sheba, Fiori is creating a platform where Ethiopian culture, coffee and travel become more visible, more personal and more connected in Switzerland.

The first gathering takes place at Liyu Ethiopian Restaurant in Zurich Wiedikon — a warm local place for Ethiopian and Eritrean food, hospitality and shared meals. This evening should not feel staged. It should feel like entering a real table, a real kitchen and a real cultural space.
